Kenny's Law of Conditioned Laziness

Kenny's Law of Conditioned Laziness (also known as Kenny's Law or ForkBurn's Law), is a popular adage in China's (or probably also other countries') university (or probably also other educational institutions) culture, which broadly states that human constantly behave a conditioned laziness under a certain circumstance. The original sentence reads as follows:

Anything that should be done in holidays will not be done.

The law was first discovered by F. B. Kenny, a university student in The University of Mt. Pokfulam, after his failure of being unable to submit his math assignment before the professor disappeared in the classroom. He also suggested that, anything that should be done in non-holidays could also fail to be done in some cases, since holiday is a sufficient condition of the law, but not a necessary condition of the law.

The phraes first received public attention during a FYP Crisis in the Department of Electrical and Electronic, University of Mt. Pokfulam, when more than half of the students failed to finish their Toy Car Parking and Washing and Repairing and Fueling Management System Design Project, which was due on the day after a one-week vacation. This caused tremendous panic amongst the professors. However, the Head of the Department blamed this crisis on Kenny's Law, and thus no student failed during the evaluation of the design project.

Kenny's Law of Conditioned Laziness has a number of variation. Some are listed below:

Anything that should be done in vacations will not be done.

Anything that should be done in Hall will not be done.

Anything that should be done in class will not be done.

Anything that should be done in year 1 will not be done.

Anything that should be done in university will not be done.

Anything that should be done will not be done.
